BRAKES AND PARTS

Disc Brake Set Up on Front Wheel - With fork that has caliper tabs

Choose a "Freewheel" wheel.
These wheels have a hub that is threaded on one side.
Instead of using it on the back of a bike with a freewheel gear,
use it to mount a disc brake.

Spin on the adapter.
The correct adapter to use with a freewheel is the "FREEWHEEL DISC BRAKE ROTOR MOUNT" below.

Bolt the rotor onto the adapter with 6 mounting screws.
The rotor shown is the one supplied with the adapter. You can use any 160mm rotor such as our skull rotor or ace of spades rotor for example.

Attach your fork to the axle. The fork shown has caliper mouting tabs.  Bolt on your caliper with two mouting bolts. Now all that's left to do is attach your brake cable, and choose your handbrake levers.
