Choose a "Freewheel" wheel.
These wheels have a hub that is threaded on one side.
Instead of using it on the back of a bike with a freewheel
gear,
use it to mount a disc brake. |
Spin on the adapter.
The correct adapter to use with a freewheel is the
"FREEWHEEL DISC BRAKE ROTOR MOUNT" below. |
Bolt the rotor onto the
adapter with 6 mounting screws.
The rotor shown is the one supplied with the
adapter. You can use any 160mm rotor such as our
skull rotor or ace of spades rotor for example. |
Attach
your fork to the axle. The fork shown has caliper mouting
tabs. |
Bolt on
your caliper with two mouting bolts. Now all that's left to
do is attach your brake cable, and choose your handbrake
levers. |
