| Choose a "Freewheel" wheel.
These wheels have a hub that is threaded on one side.
Instead of using it on the back of a bike with a freewheel gear,
use it to mount a disc brake.
| Spin on the adapter.
The correct adapter to use with a freewheel is the "FREEWHEEL DISC BRAKE ROTOR MOUNT" below.
| Bolt the rotor onto the adapter with 6 mounting screws.
The rotor shown is the one supplied with the adapter. You can use any 160mm rotor such as our skull rotor or ace of spades rotor for example.
|Attach your fork to the axle. The fork shown has caliper mouting tabs.
||Bolt on your caliper with two mouting bolts. Now all that's left to do is attach your brake cable, and choose your handbrake levers.
