Headsets Threadless

Bike Parts - threadless headsets are used with many triple tree forks.  Threadless means the triple tree fork's steering tube is not threaded on the outside  The headset hardware goes inside the steering tube to hold the fork onto the bicycle frame.

1" or 1 1/8" sizes refers to the headset hardware's aperture size.  This aperture receives a threadless steering tube and threadless stem.  The threadless headset fastens the triple tree fork and frame together - VIDEO
