Lowrider bicycles have been around since the late 1960's when someone got the great idea to modifiy their original Stingrey bicycle. In general lowrider bikes are made with 16" or 20" wheels. The wheels have more spokes than standard bicycles raning from 68 to 140 spokes. Chrome and gold parts are used with most lowrider bicycles. There are many custom parts people put on their lowrider bikes including, twisted steering wheels, continental kits, sissybars, twist apehanger handlebars, banana seats, bullet lights, springer forks, and deluxe style grips. Lowrider car shows often have many lowrider bicycles which are made by father and son working together to display their best efforts in order to win a trophy at the end of show. Lowrider culture has been growing bigger for years. Low Low.
